Established in 1974, it caters for children aged 3-11, offering an informal, friendly learning environment. The aim of the school is to equip its students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become successful and confident young individuals. Through a variety of interactive activities, it allows its pupils to develop their understanding and enthusiasm for learning. The school provides a broad, balanced and creative curriculum, offering a range of topics such as Art and Design, Computing, Maths, Science and Geography. It also allows pupils to take part in various extra-curricular activities such as trips, sports and music. In addition to this, Thornsett Primary School provides an extended care facility for those aged 3-11, allowing parents to drop off their children before the start of the day.*
