Bacon's School of Philosophy was developed by the English philosopher Francis Bacon during the 17th century. Bacon argued that knowledge could be acquired through a process of inductive reasoning, which involved observing and collecting data, making generalizations, and formulating theories. He advocated the use of experiments to test theories as a means to acquire knowledge. He proposed a new method of learning, which he termed “scientific method”, which laid the foundation of modern scientific inquiry and experimentation. Bacon's ideas were revolutionary in their time and laid the foundation for the subsequent scientific revolution. His principles have since been used in many fields, including medicine and biology.*
